Christmas Carnival!

India

Finally, the most awaited time of the year arrived in the month of December ringing in jingles of warmth and harmony. Each of our projects around India celebrated the joyous occasion in their own unique way, with our grand old Santa Claus being the main character in all the events. While our Delhi Schools and projects kickstarted the festivities with lots of talent displays, dancing and feasting; our Bengaluru counterparts, chose to have a green Christmas. The children of Bagalur school, Bengaluru, had a delightful Christmas tryst with nature. The party, set in the lush, green environs of Cubbon Park, was fun all the way, complete with games, gift hampers (given by the volunteers from the Interact Club of Little Angel Modern High School), story telling sessions, cake cutting and a toy train ride around the park.

Our beneficiaries from Goa, also had a rollicking time, welcoming Christmas in a blue way. Apart from a fun splash at the waterpark, the kids were bewitched by a magic show, followed by a creative cookie making session.

Thanks to the parents of Paradise School, Goa, our kids got personalised gifts for themselves and their siblings. Santa’s cheerful spirit and colourful candy made their day.

We also joined hands with Givers For A Cause Trust, to distribute snug blankets to the beneficiaries at the AIIMS hospital shelter, New Delhi; spreading warmth and Christmas cheer in the harsh weather. Christmas was soul-some and wholesome in so many ways.
