A Capful Of Comfort
New Delhi
On October 8th, a quiet act of kindness unfolded at AIIMS that reminded us how love can be woven, quite literally, into the fabric of care. One of our volunteers hand-knitted 200 woollen caps for children. Each cap was made with thought and empathy, offering not just warmth but a small reminder that someone was thinking of them. The gesture was simple, but its impact was felt, in the comfort it brought and the smiles it sparked. It was a moment that reminded us how small acts of kindness can bring light into difficult days, and how community is built not just through grand gestures, but through quiet, heartfelt ones. The smiles on the faces of children when they received colorful hand knitted caps was priceless.
