Care for the environment is deeply embedded in the values of Samarpan Foundation. We reuse and recycle wherever possible. Our animal welfare rescue vehicle in Bengaluru needed repairs and the waste tyres were retrieved and reused in an innovative way. We made them into beds for street animals! Using the tyres as a frame, mattress cut-outs were fit within, turning them into comfortable beds for dogs! The dogs receiving treatment at our partner facilities, could not be happier, as they slept snugly in them. Our volunteers keep their thinking caps on and find ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
