Every year countless people become victims to life-threatening diseases due to lack of proper hygiene and sanitation facilities. Many schools in our country lack proper toilet facilities which impact the health, hygiene, dignity and education of children. It was a very special moment for the students and staff of the Shastri Park School, New Delhi, when a brand new toilet facility with a proper drainage system, was inaugurated on the 20th of December 2022. This eventful day also saw an engaging role play on toilet awareness and a riveting dance performance. The ribbon cutting ceremony was done by our esteemed guests, Ms. Raj Lakshmi from PVR Nest and Ms. Roohi Sharma, Vice-Chairperson of Samarpan Foundation.
