The Bruguiera Cylindrica has blossomed in the landlocked forest nursery, Redhills.
This is a first, and proves that the concept of raising mangrove saplings inland for planting in the coastal belt is a viable proposal. The common theory that mangrove nurseries can only be raised on the coast has been disproved.
