Daan Utsav - The Spirit Of Giving

To nurture the virtue of selflessness, we embarked on a journey of celebrating a day dedicated to the spirit of giving and philanthropy. On 8th October, 2024, we celebrated ‘Daan Utsav’ with the students of our Kishangarh, Kotla and Aya Nagar schools, New Delhi, where they got an opportunity to feed their animal buddies on the streets of the surrounding areas. With the students’ support, we gathered edible items like pedigree animal food, cereals like rice and corn; jaggery, cucumber, bread, biscuits, milk and vegetables to feed the dogs, cats, cows and birds. From collecting food to feeding the animals in the community, it was a heart-touching experience, invoking a feeling of compassion, sensitivity and pride in our students.
