Entrepreneurship Training

New Delhi

Students of class 11 and 12 at the Samarpan School and Tuition Centre, Kishangarh, started their first entrepreneurial venture by setting up a chaat and bhelpuri stall at their local Dussehra Mela. The stall was put up by pooling in their own resources, without any help from the adults! But what truly made the stall special was the very reason it had been set up for. The profit made from the sale of food was put back into the stall, to purchase and serve snacks for needy children who were unable to buy these simple treats for themselves. For each of us at Samarpan, learning has always gone hand in hand with giving back to those in need, and we feel extremely proud of these children. Not only do they epitomize the values of Samarpan, but they are also carrying the torch to light up the lives of others.
