The most anticipated day of the year finally arrived on 20th October, 2024, as we hosted a spectacular Children’s Carnival at the Calangute Association Hall in Goa, graced by our Founder Chairperson, Patrick San Francesco. A cherished annual tradition for the children from Samarpan's tuition centre, local schools, and the orphanages we support in Goa, this event was no less than a dream. Our dedicated volunteers welcomed the children with cheerful smiley badges and neon wristbands. The atmosphere was electric as long-time volunteers and supporters from around the globe united to make this celebration a grand success.
The venue was adorned with vibrant decor, including balloons and ribbons, creating a festive ambience. Life-sized furry animal statues were a major attraction, delighting everyone. The party was filled with laughter, games, and dancing, featuring activities designed to engage and entertain. Winners exchanged their dummy coins for exciting gifts and goodies, adding even more joy to the celebration! Children eagerly lined up for the bouncy castle and face painting, while one of our volunteers wowed the crowd with her DJ skills, keeping everyone dancing to upbeat tunes. The vibrant energy of the dynamic Zumba instructor swept through the room, keeping the children on their toes and igniting their spirits with infectious enthusiasm. After indulging in a scrumptious meal of delectable dishes and desserts, it was time to say goodbye. While hearts were heavy to leave and say farewell, excitement was already building for next year’s celebration!
