Quilling their way to a beautiful world

Samarpan has always endeavoured to work towards the holistic development of each child. Developing creative imagination and problem solving skills alongside scholastic abilities has been one of its prerogatives. Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
The Samarpan School and Tuition centre, Hathi Basti, Delhi, organised a week long workshop on Quilling Art for the students of classes six to nine. They were mentored by Ms. Pooja Arya, an expert in the art. Aimed towards giving the students exposure to a wide range of creativity enhancement skills, the workshop was attended by 18 students.
The students learnt to create a variety of objects like shapes, bookmarks, gift tags and fridge magnets with the skills acquired in the course of the workshop.
