Many look forward to Delhi’s invigorating winters, but the same is not true for those living on the pavements and streets of the city. It has been a particularly harsh winter this year and a difficult time for these unfortunate souls. Samarpan conducted a blanket distribution drive in and around New Delhi, covering various areas such as Leprosy Camp, Bindusar Camp, East of Kailash, Nehru Place, Kalkaji, Lajpat Nagar, Ashram, Nizamuddin and Khan Market. Spreading a bit of warmth and cheer in these freezing conditions brought comfort and joy to those in need, and warmed our hearts too.
