Students Face The Reality Of Waste

The entire world-climate dynamics is changing due to the mindless actions of mankind. It is imperative to sensitize our future generations to safeguard our environment. On 25th April 2024, we collaborated with Saahas, a non-profit committed towards the field of waste management and sustainable development, and educated the students of classes 6-8 of Kishangarh Tuition Centre, New Delhi. The enlightening session conducted by expert facilitators Vishal and Purvi from Saahas, shed light on pertinent topics like the water cycle, linear and circular economy, over-exploitation of resources, garbage mountains and recycling of resources. Added to this, there was a quiz session making the event interesting and interactive. The winners were felicitated with recycled pencils, aptly resonating with the theme of the session.
