The Kagay Project

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically affected daily wage labourers, especially in rural parts of India. In one small village, Kagay, in West Bengal, where most families were engaged as land labourers and construction workers, people lost their means of living, due to the prevailing situation and stringent lockdowns. Samarpan Foundation, in association with the NGO One Action, decided to support these families with monthly rations. We have successfully reached out to more than a hundred beneficiaries. A big thank you to our team of volunteers for ensuring that the support reached the families.
