Vision That Heals
New Delhi
On 16th February, Samarpan Foundation, in collaboration with Centre for Sight, organized a free eye check-up camp under the Injustice of Justice (IJOJ) Project, New Delhi, reaching nearly 75 individuals from families of incarcerated persons. These families often live on the margins of society. For many, regular eye check-ups are simply out of reach, not due to neglect but due to the daily battle for survival. This simple yet impactful initiative gave them more than just medical care—it gave them a sense of being seen and valued. Participants were able to focus on their health, some for the first time in years, and were deeply grateful for the opportunity. At Samarpan, we believe access to quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and through IJOJ, we continue working to restore that right to families too often overlooked.
