Water Bowl Project
Goa
Each summer brings with it the inescapable scorching heat. For animals living on the streets, life becomes even more difficult as they are unable to find drinking water for their survival. Volunteers of Samarpan Foundation, Goa, have taken up the task of ensuring water is available for them. Collaborating with a local potter, large water bowls have been placed within various localities of Goa. Awareness is also being spread about the need to place water bowls in various communities. It has been a joy to see many creatures satiating their thirst through this simple initiative. We encourage everyone to place accessible water bowls for street animals as the heat overtakes us.
