The student community of Samarpan Foundation could not contain their joy and excitement when our Founder-Trustee, Patrick San Francesco, arrived at the Kishangarh School and Tuition Centre, New Delhi. Excitement filled the air. Students, teachers and staff, representing all our centres across Delhi, participated in the event. Everyone received colourful, handmade bands and magnets.
Vicky Singh, an alumnus of the Kotla School, and currently, a final year student pursuing B.A. Hindi Honours at Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Delhi University, delivered an impactful speech, narrating his experience of how Patrick changed his life in unfathomable ways. He proudly averred that he is not far from reaching his childhood dream of becoming a police officer.
There were exuberant performances by students from all six schools run by Samarpan Foundation in New Delhi, mouth-watering snacks prepared by the students of Kishangarh School, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Lunch was served and the day culminated with a power-packed DJ dance session.
