The students at Samarpan are ardent supporters of reusing and recycling. A series of sessions was organised with Ms. Nitya and the team from The Times of India, who spoke about the importance of recycling waste. Reading and keeping abreast of what is happening in the world today, promotes awareness of how we can adopt green measures for a better world. A playful competition was also organised for the kids to make the ‘Best out of Waste’. They were asked to create things with newspapers, and their creativity was a delight for all. The four day session saw participation from about a hundred students from the Samarpan schools in New Delhi.
